The 5 Tyrolean glaciers

Glaciers bring additional value to mountain tops: more snow, more sun, more views, and more fun! Enjoy your time here not only in winter but from autumn until late spring, and in Hintertux even all year round. Don’t miss out on this amazing ski fun at the five major glacier ski resorts at Kaunertal, Pitztal, Sölden, Stubai, and Hintertux.

The 5 Tyrolean Glaciers offer a total of 300 kilometres of pistes, 75 cable cars and lifts, as well as 100 kilometres of off-piste skiing routes, action-packed snow parks, hidden ice caves, and a world of 007.

Kaunertal Glacier

The panoramic Kaunertal Glacier Road with over 29 sharp turns takes you up to 2,750 metres above sea level, to the edge of the Weißseeferner glacier – from there, you can simply head straight out to the ski slopes. Kaunertal Glacier is definitely still a hidden gem in Tyrol. This is where you can enjoy skiing and nature without crowded pistes and long lift queues.
