A blend of superlatives at 3,000 metres
Up, up and away to the Pitztal Glacier! It is Tirol‘s highest glacier and home to Austria’s highest cafe. Homemade cakes taste even better at 3,440 metres above sea level! Views from the seemingly free-floating panorama terrace include the Wildspitze (Tirol’s highest mountain at 3,774 metres), as well as another 50 three-thousand-metre high peaks. Ski conditions are also unparalleled here: ski fans can look forward to perfectly groomed pistes, fantastic powder snow slopes and downhill runs. Pitztal Glacier is also home to Tirol's first ski touring park, which can be used throughout the winter in three different levels of difficulty. Thanks to its favourable altitude, tours are possible in both early and late season.
