Snow-filled fun at 3,000 metres above sea level

The Hintertux Glacier plays host to Austria’s longest ski season. No other resort allows you to ski whenever you want – be it in June, October or December. Skiers have 64 kilometres of panoramic slopes at their disposal in winter – from 3,250 metres above sea level all the way down to the village centre. Betterpark Hintertux, Austria’s highest and most snow-sure freestyle hotspot, offers superior airtime at over 3,000 metres above sea level from late September to December and again in spring from April through to June. Luis, the glacier mascot, is also on hand during the winter months to provide yet more ski fun on the Kid’s and Fun slopes.
A glacier ski day can be perfectly combined with a visit to two unique natural treasures:
Nature’s Ice Palace – a wondrous world of ice – leads into the innermost depths of the glacier.
Spannagel Cave is the only marble cave in the Central Alps and can be explored all year round as part of a guided tour.
Guests enjoy culinary delights of the highest standards with a Gondola Breakfast, the “Brettljausen” Gondola, or with a Spannagel-Fondue. Unrivalled glacier panoramas are always included on the menu.
