Sölden can guarantee snow from October to May thanks to its altitude, state-ofthe- art snowmaking systems and 2 glacier ski areas. Stretching over an area of 20 square kilometres, it boasts one of the biggest glacier ski resorts in Austria.
The Tiefenbach Glacier is characterised by its gentle and wide slopes and is therefore very popular with less experienced winter sports fans. Tiefenbach is also home to the snow park during the autumn months. In contrast, the Rettenbach Glacier offers steep and challenging terrain for the sporty, more advanced skier. The World Cup run is one of the steepest slopes in the entire Sölden ski area.
