The Kaunertal Glacier, as the smallest yet the finest of the 5 Tirol Glaciers, offers something for everyone! Whether it's the snowboarding and free-skiing scene, which meets every year at the legendary KAUNERTAL OPENING and at the SPRING CLASSICS; or sports enthusiasts, who test the latest equipment in autumn in the annual SKI test; or teams and trainers, who find the ideal place to train on the Kaunertal Glacier; or families, whose children up to the age of 10 years old go for free and are very well looked after by the TOP ski schools. There is something for everyone here. And those who also want something away from the pistes, will really enjoy a snow-shoe hike in the Nature Park or benefit from the superb cross-country slopes on offer in the valley.
